Solo Quinta Recas 2010
An intense colour of light gold with green tinges.
Complex nose which opens up as the wine breaths some air,- , initially dominated by muscat notes,
green apple, white berries,- and later by the chardonnay- pear, banana- light biscuit notes and
vanilla hints.
On the palate there is good fruit weight with notes of banana, white pear, apricot , at cool
temperatures this wine tastes like a fresh , crisp summer wine- but with a slightly warmer
temperature and a bit of breathing time, more complex notes of lychee and rose petal come to the
fore, with just a hint of fine tannins from the Merlot.
A long, persistant finish with light smoked notes from the Transylvanian new oak barriques.
Limited edition of 6500 bottles.
Grape varieties: Chardonnay 30 %. Sauvignon Blanc 20 % Feteasca Regala 30 % Muscat 10% , Merlot
10 %.
