The wine shows a light red color with strong and shiny reflexes, accompanied by strong spicy flavors: cinnamon, white pepper, nutmeg and more discreet flavors of cherries and plums.

The taste evolves from fruity to tannic, with a complex structure due to the harmony between the spicy notes, soft tannins and intense fruitiness, specific to this variety.

This wine can be drunk as an appetizer, or can go very well associated with beef dishes or French cheeses like Camembert or Brie.
